BATS is the resident theatre society of Queens' College, Cambridge. BATS is open to applications of all descriptions: from new writing to comedy, musicals to devised pieces, Shakespeare to contemporary drama. The main emphasis is on putting on fun and creative shows in a friendly and unpretentious environment.

The Fitzpatrick Hall

Queens' College has it's own theatre space, the Fitzpatrick Hall (often just called 'the Fitzpat'), which is a modern and well-equipped venue that hosts a variety of shows and student events. The space can be transformed from a regular proscenium theatre, seating 208, to a black box space. The stage can also be raised and lowered, and configured in a variety of ways. Beneath the stage the Fitzpatrick Hall also holds the Cambridge costume store, which is managed by CUADC and BATS.

The current manager of the Fitzpatrick Hall is a member of college staff, Richard DeCordova, who can be contacted at: rd544@cam.ac.uk

Current Committee

The current co-presidents of BATS are Holly Mackinlay and Hope Whitehead. They can be contacted at ham36@cam.ac.uk and hw470@cam.ac.uk, respectively.
