Stewards are also a port of call for the audience during the show but in almost all cases, issues are deferred straight to [[ADC management]] so no ADC or theatre experience is required, just an ability to show up to the stewarding slot with plenty of time (remember to find a replacement if you suddenly can't make it) and enthusiasm.

Getting involved in Cambridge theatre does not have to mean getting near the stage at all! Every show at the ADC Theatre and Corpus Playroom needs volunteer stewards. The exact roles of the a steward vary between venue and if it's a main, late or bar show, but you get to see the show for free in return for checking tickets and showing people to their seats.

Stewards are also a port of call for the audience during the show but in almost all cases, issues are deferred straight to ADC management so no ADC or theatre experience is required, just an ability to show up to the stewarding slot with plenty of time (remember to find a replacement if you suddenly can't make it) and enthusiasm.
